Striim 3.6 – Analyze Salesforce Data

Table of Contents

Salesforce is the ubiquitous 800-pound gorilla in CRM. From building more meaningful relationships and connecting with customers across sales, customer service, marketing and more, it is becoming more and more critical for companies to access and analyze Salesforce data in real time.

With the release of Striim 3.6, you can now source live data from your Salesforce instance as it happens. With the ability to pull all data for an object type and continually feed any changes, Striim has you covered. The Salesforce integration can be leveraged in two modes. Users can retrieve everything for an object type in Salesforce, all at once. Or, users can leverage Striim’s change data capture feature to capture a continuous feed of only the changes to Salesforce data. This enables initial processing of all Salesforce data, followed by the onging, real-time capture of incremental changes, all within a single data flow or complete application.

The Salesforce integration allows you pull any object in from SFDC, designate an interval, and and then read all data, or only the data that has been changed.

Accessing, processing, and enriching customer data in real time about target accounts and important customers for the sales team could make or break an important deal. Knowledge is power. Let’s say, for example, there is a customer meeting and a salesperson adds their notes to SFDC. With the Salesforce integration in Striim 3.6, we could process this information and join it with a more complete customer history and propensity to buy certain products or services. The sales person would then be able to access a real time dashboard with this information and make an informed decision on the best next steps for closing the deal.
