Deploying and configuring Striim Cloud Enterprise and Mission Critical

Striim Cloud is a fully managed SaaS version of Striim. Unlike Striim Platform, which you install and manage yourself, Striim Cloud is deployed and maintained by Striim, so you can build and run streaming applications without provisioning or administering the underlying infrastructure.

Striim Cloud comes in two editions. Striim Cloud Enterprise runs on a single server and is available on AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. Striim Cloud Mission Critical runs on a multi-server cluster, adds the features that depend on it, and is available on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.

Topics include:

  • Getting started: subscribing to Striim Cloud, creating an instance, and enabling add-on features.

  • Configuring data persistence and external sources: connecting Striim Cloud to the data stores and systems it will read from and write to.

  • User and access management: creating users and controlling what they can see and do.

  • Security and networking: securing your environment, including private connectivity options.

  • Metering: understanding how usage is measured and billed.

  • Administrative operations: day-to-day tasks for managing your Striim Cloud environment.

  • System requirements: the prerequisites your environment must meet.

  • Managing Striim Cloud console alerts: configuring and responding to alerts raised in the Striim Cloud console.
