Operational considerations for Intercom Reader

The following guidance and metrics can help you deploy and operate Intercom integrations in Striim.

Metrics monitored by the Intercom Reader

Metric	Description
Number of deletes	Delete operations observed (may be zero if deletes are not emitted by the source).
Number of DDLs	Schema-related events observed.
Number of PKUpdates	Primary-key update operations.
Number of updates	Update operations ingested.
Number of inserts	Insert operations ingested.

DELETE operations are not captured.
Access to some tables (for example, Conversations) may depend on your Intercom plan and scopes. Exclude tables you cannot access or update your plan/scopes accordingly.
When using wildcards in Tables, consider using Excluded tables to avoid objects that generate errors or are not needed.
