Security and networking for Validata Cloud

Validata Cloud supports the following networking options to securely connect to your data systems. Your selection of a particular networking option depends on your network requirements and security policies, and which cloud service provider hosts your Validata Cloud service.

  • IP whitelisting for Validata Cloud: IP whitelisting may be appropriate when you want to enforce access control by restricting access to a specific IP address, while blocking all others. Validata Cloud supports IP whitelisting on Google Cloud.

  • Using an SSH tunnel: Using an SSH tunnel may be appropriate when you require secure remote access over an encrypted channel. Validata Cloud supports SSH tunnel connectivity on Google Cloud.

  • Using private networking to connect securely while eliminating exposure to the public internet: This connectivity option may be appropriate when you want to ensure that traffic to your services remains within your private network and isolated from the public internet.
