Configure Striim to send Teams alerts

In order to send the alerts defined from the Alert Manager page to Microsoft Teams, you must configure a Teams OAuth token and specify a channel URL for Striim to use. When the Teams OAuth token is not configured, as is the case immediately after installing Striim, a Configure Teams link is visible at the top of the Alert Manager page. To generate a Teams OAuth token, see .

  1. Follow the instructions in Configure Teams to receive alerts from Striim.

  2. In Striim, in the Alert Manager, click Configure Teams and provide the information from Teams setup in for Client ID, Client Secret, and Refresh Token.

  3. Test the configuration by typing the channel URL in Validate Connection and clicking Send Test.

  4. If the connection is valid, click Save.
